The BAC 100 Peaks Challenge is a legendary quest to climb South Korea’s 100 most famous mountains. For us, this journey felt like it would take forever. During the pandemic, we decided to take a break from our usual routines, including work, to focus on completing the remaining unclimbed mountains. Our goal was ambitious: to finish the challenge within a year.
We chose winter for this final push, aiming to conquer the remaining peaks amidst snow and ice. Completing this challenge seemed nearly impossible due to the remote locations and harsh conditions. As we planned our winter climbing attempt, concerns about our health and the unpredictable weather loomed large.
So, what do you think? Did we manage to finish the BAC 100 Peaks Challenge on time? Follow our story and find out if our winter adventure ended in triumph or defeat.
