When my husband and I first heard about Unaksan, we were captivated by the descriptions of its stunning landscapes and historical significance. But nothing prepared us for the actual hike. As relatively fit hikers, we assumed it would be challenging yet manageable. However, Unaksan proved to be a different beast altogether.
